SUSQ.AI was founded by Brian and Melinda Butler, a husband-and-wife team dedicated to making advanced artificial intelligence practical, accessible, and impactful for businesses, agencies, and organizations shaping the future. Their shared passion for service and innovation extends beyond technology — at home, they are the proud companions of K9 Apollo, a working-line German Shepherd currently training for Human Remains Detection (HRD) certification. In addition, Brian and Melinda are both actively pursuing their Wilderness First Responder (WFR) certifications, further reflecting their commitment to leadership, readiness, and community service.

With a background spanning law enforcement, government operations, real estate, logistics, and executive leadership, Brian Butler brings a rare combination of operational expertise and entrepreneurial drive.
By the age of 30, Brian had built and led four businesses employing over 200 people, generating over $3 million in annual sales. Following the housing market collapse, he pivoted successfully into REO and foreclosure markets, representing clients such as the U.S. Department of HUD, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and numerous national banks.
Brian has also served as President & CEO of a publicly traded finance company, chaired the Government Affairs Committee for the National Association of Realtors, and sat on the Board of Directors for the Boys & Girls Club of America.
He holds numerous federal and state certifications, including:
- NIMS, ICS, & Continuity of Operations (U.S. Department of Homeland Security)
- Certified Crowd Manager (State Fire Marshal’s Office)

When she’s not shaping the future of SUSQ.AI, Melinda serves full-time as a Neonatal Pediatric Respiratory Therapist, making life-saving impacts in the healthcare field.
She’s also a member of her hospital’s helicopter transport team, delivering cri
Melinda Butler brings compassion and clarity to every part of the business — and far beyond.
When she’s not shaping the future of SUSQ.AI, Melinda serves full-time as a Neonatal Pediatric Respiratory Therapist, making life-saving impacts in the healthcare field.
She’s also a member of her hospital’s helicopter transport team, delivering critical care and calm under pressure to some of the most vulnerable patients in the region.
Outside the hospital and office, Melinda is an avid HAM radio operator, holding a General Class license and serving as a Volunteer Examiner (VE). She’s an active member of ARES (Amateur Radio Emergency Service) and passionate about supporting communications in times of need.
She also enjoys music, traveling, and discovering new places with Brian and their four-legged teammate, K9 Apollo.
